It presents a contemporary juristic and analytical study، examining the concept of hoarding، its legal ruling، and its societal effects. The paper explores the linkage between hoarding and Sadd al-Dharā’i، and offers relevant modern applications. The study concludes that this principle offers a strong legal tool to safeguard food security and prevent economic harm to society. It recommends broader implementation of this principle within economic policies of Islamic countries.
